Its hard to call Gary Sanchez’ 2019 cleats anything but exclusives. They take materials from several different past Nike models. The plate, which is so important to a catcher, actually dates back to at least 2012-13 with the Nike MVP Pro metal, worn by Mike Trout before Trout had a signature shoe. We see that plate on a lot of pro cleats, but it doesn’t make it to non-Nike athletes.
Gary’s away cleats have a subtle Kraken logo in gold on the tongue, which is dope, and an abstract navy/grey design with gold plates. The home cleats are similar but without the gold, at least that we saw.
