For the first time I’ve seen A.J. Pierzynski wear red outline with his Nike Elite Protector and shinguards. We’ve seen four different combinations with A.J. The blue with red piping as you can see above, and here as well, and the blue with white piping has been wore on away games. While the red with blue piping and red with white piping have been worn at home games. And as always, A.J. wears his Wilson A2000 1791.

Also the first time we’ve seen Salvador Perez with the ribs of his System 7 a primary color. To solidify this, let’s take a look at Perez’s career in pictures.

The first set of gear Perez wore, the All Star CP28PRO chest protector and the LG23WPRO shinguards. Then Perez started to wear All Star System and got a little fancy with the colors. The powder blue and blue secondary from last year was the start. He currently uses the grey, and then the white and powder blue and of course the regular blue and white. Perez has also worn this set of System 7 in Spring Training, an all blue set and this set in the WBC with Venezuela. Perez also has always worn an All Star CM3000 glove, with an All Star steel FM25LUC mask.

It looks like Chris Synder’s orange and black TPX gear came down to Baltimore, as he was using the Louisville Slugger PSET3 gear in all black, now he is using the newer Pulse set of gear. And he is using a Wilson A2000 1791.
