George Springer is an all around stud who mans center field. The UConn product came into his own while playing for the Huskies. He went from a 48th round pick out of high school in 2008 to 11th overall in 2011. Springer has lived up to the hype, raking in All Star appearances and a Silver Slugger. Springer became a hero in the city of Houston in 2017. His five home run performance in the seven game World Series victory over the Dodgers cemented him in Houston sports history and earned him World Series MVP.
Springer is a WPW favorite. Not only does he have some of the cleanest gear to grace a diamond, Springer has took the time to show it off. A poster child for Nike, Springer gets some special treatment. Springer loves being on the cutting edge of swag. He is always one of the first in Nike’s newest spikes and has worn several different cleats over the course of his career. Springer is often seen in Nike Vapor Elite Pro or Nike MVP Elite batting gloves. His weapon of choice at the dish has been a Chandler GS4 maple bat, a Victus MB50 Axe Handle maple bat, or a Marucci GS8 maple bat. George Springer’s glove is more unique. The outfielder takes full advantage of his relationship with Nike using their synthetic Nike Vapor 360 glove. Stance socks and Nike Show-x2 glasses are subtle additions that pull together the swagged-out look.
