Bo Bichette had been wearing a green REV1X glove in Spring, but he was just waiting to pull out this baby blue showstopper for the regular season. Bo’s blue REV1X is 11 3/4″ inches. The glove has Bo’s personal logo on the palm, which is one of the best in the league. The overall design of the glove is abstract and looks amazing—its got that ocean wavy look that matches his logo. The closest glove you can get to Bo’s is baby blue with camel leather, an absolute beauty that Bo has actually used in the past, and its available at Dick’s for $400 (only 7 left as of this writing). Otherwise, Rawlings has the original 4 colorways for $400.
The REV1X has a leather palm, laceless web, and 3-d printed thumb and pinky inserts designed for lightweight durability. The first player to wear it was Francisco Lindor. Bo Bichette followed, and with the insane amount of REV1X heat that Rawlings has given him (see slideshow), it looks like Bo is going to be sticking with the unique glove model for the foreseeable future.
Here’s a few more articles we’ve written featuring the half-leather, half-synthetic glove:
