Nike unveiled the cleats you’ll see at every ballpark in America on Sunday for MLB’s 10th season of Going to bat Against Breast Cancer.
Nike went with pink/black with subtle Rose details and I can’t argue. If I was going to wear pink, I’d want it to look like these:
Nike also sent through write-ups on these cleats, and it was interesting to see how they differentiated the MVP Pro and the MVP Elite 3/4:
“The Nike Air MVP Pro Metal 2 Men’s Baseball Cleat is designed with a nine-cleat configuration and long-lasting TPU outsole to give you incredible traction when rounding the bases. Responsive Nike Air cushioning delivers outstanding impact protection during intense play.”
“The Nike Air Max MVP Elite 2 3/4 Metal Men’s Baseball Cleat features a lightweight Pebax ® plate and nine strategically placed cleats for plush comfort and traction in the field and on the base paths. A Phylon midsole with a visible Max Air unit provides high-performance cushioning in this mid-profile cleat.”
And last but not least, the Lunar Vapor Trout:
I’d take ’em all, but I think my favorite is the MVP Elite 3/4, though the carbon fiber look on the MVP Pro 2s is pretty sick. Which would you rock?
