Birds singing, flowers blooming, a blizzard and fresh new Spring Training caps—the first true signs of spring. This year I’m really impressed with these new ones.
Leading off with the Braves’ Tomahawk, which is real sharp. (Get it?) This is one of those hats that I’d wear despite having no real affiliation with the team. Get it here.
You’ll probably see a lot of Cubs hat this year—just a hunch. This one is a classic—this angry-looking cub first appeared on Cubs uniforms in 1979 (according to an amazing project done by the Chicago Tribune that shows 113 years of Cubs jerseys). Get this Cubs hat here.
Solid Indians hat. The “C” is definitely a nice one though its still hard for me to let go of Chief Wahoo. Insensitivities aside, its just a great logo. Get this one here.
My #1 out of the whole group, this M’s hat is just plain silky (to quote Jake). Get it here.
Another classic. Well done, Chicago. Get it here.
Seems pretty standard for the Mets but maybe that orange bill is a bit of a change? Get this one here.
Rays hats always do it for me. This one is no different. Going strictly light blue with the kinda weird but aesthetically pleasing flashbang logo. They probably don’t call it flashbang logo, but what is it anyways? Get this one here.
I mentioned this already on our app (download now for your own virtual locker), but I’m not a fan of the pinstripe. Looks kinda like a knock-off you’d get down at the Jersey shore. I am open to differing opinions, however, because swag is in the eye of the beholder. Get this at the link.
This is the best Yanks hat after the standard Yankee hat, which is arguably the most iconic hat in the history of hats, right up there with cowboy hats, the pope’s hat, etc. I need one of these. Get it here.
