New Balance taking good care of their guys per usual. DJ LeMahieu, who wore the stock digi-camos last year, now has himself a custom 4040v3. Shop 4040v3 here.

You can see that DJ values ankle protection by the high laces. Also notice the “debris-free construction,” which “eliminates waste, preserving raw materials and providing an enviromentally preferred manufacturing solution.” Good on ya NB.
