Part 2 of our Independence Day recap, starting with Giancarlo Stanton’s Blackout USA arm sleeve from Custom Sports Sleeves.
You can get that one here.
Cutters athletes, including SS Jason Martinson with the Syracuse Chiefs (Nats), got hooked up with a nice little spread for the 4th, including the BGs, sleeve and wrist guard.
Soto Customs sent through a shot of K-Rod’s kit for the 4th, including his custom New Balance 4040v3s (though you wouldn’t know it).
Michael Rockett, aka @moonbootcustoms, is a former Tigers minor leaguer and current York Revolution outfielder of the Atlantic League. Michael not only plays pro ball, but he’s also a custom artist, and did this bat up for himself, which he used in-game.
Bryce Harper showed off his take on patriotic lumber, a Statue of Liberty bat that had the words “Freedom is Never Given, it is Won.”
Bryce made this statement in his post:
To the soldiers who keep our land safe and free this was going to be for you, to tell the true story of the amazing life that I have growing up in such a beautiful country..This wouldn’t be possible with out the whole military and the efforts and sacrifices they take every single day! I love America and I love the freedom that we have..One day I hope players in the @MLB can express the way they feel and give thanks to everybody that makes our lives possible and safe every single day through bats or cleats or anything to that point..Again thank you and #Oorah ?? And no I will not being using this bat today to respect the rules of @MLB!
