The @Evoshield Swing Series, Powered by @Chandler_Bats (Release Info)

chandler-evoshield

After our interview with David Chandler when we first learned Evoshield is breaking into the wood bat business, I contacted Evoshield for any details David Chandler might have left out, and here’s what Justin Niefer, Co-Founder and VP of Business Development at Evoshield, had to say:

“When we looked at the wooden bat category, we noticed David Chandler is being regarded as the most innovative bat maker in baseball. He stands for the same things we do at EvoShield: Innovation, Authenticity and Integrity. David doesn’t pay guys to swing his wood. Players swing Chandler because of its performance, plain and simple. That says it all right there.  So when David called us in 2012 about partnering up with him to make the best performing wood bat on the market, we thought it was a natural fit and something the baseball world needed.

Niefer went into further detail on the collaboration:

“We are calling it the EvoShield Swing Series. This collection will be a high end line designed with only the best materials and finishing process to create amazing pop. These bats will be targeted towards the player that is serious about his performance and is looking for the best bat to meet the highest standards.”

When and how can we get them?

“For 2014, our initial plan is for the EvoShield Swing Series to be an exclusive bat line available to only a select group of big leaguers, but the EvoArmy doesn’t need to worry, we’ll be selling a limited quantity in 2014 at select events and on our website.  We are targeting a Spring 2014 release with a special limited Holiday pre-order in late October on evoshield.com.

We’ll keep you posted on this, hopefully we’ll see some photos real soon.  Following Evoshield on Twitter would be a good way to stay current.  Thanks to Justin for his time.
