Baseball Factory’s Under Armour All-America Game took place this Saturday at Wrigley. (Imagine playing Wrigley as a high school kid?) The game showcases not only the country’s best high school players, but since Under Armour is involved, it also showcases some of the sickest equipment money can buy, and even some that you can’t buy (yet). You’re probably wondering about those shiny shinnies. Not for sale, at least for now. (Shop UA shin guards.)
Hunter Greene, who hit 97 on the bump, got his hacks in with a yet-to-be-released pair of Bryce Harper’s favorite cleat, the Neon Sunrise colorway of his Harper One cleat, due for release on 12/1.
The matching sleeve BGs/sleeve can’t hurt. The batting gloves might be the new Yard Undeniable, due for release on 10/1.
Ricardo de la Torre rocking the Harper One in workouts, pickin’ it with the A2K Datdude available here.
You can actually customize your own Datdude now, which is pretty much the best thing that could ever happen to a Wilson guy.
Speaking of Wilson guys, SS Brady McConnell wears a Wilson I-Web (Wilson calls it an H-Web) and had some cleats on that we haven’t seen before. We haven’t confirmed it, but these might be the new UA Deception DT due for release on 10/1.
Heliot Ramos accounted for 3 of the game’s 10 hits, missing the cycle by a double in a rain-shortened game. The platinum just makes that 3 for 3 day look even better. The Harper Ones can be had, the leg guard we couldn’t find.
MJ Melendez had to watch this one fly but looked good doing it. Those shin guards are worthy of a Roman Gladiator.
Ben Jordan struck out 2 batters in 1 inning in the yet-to-be-released UA Deception DT (unconfirmed).
