Carlos Gonzalez swings a bat from Americas’ Bat Company and wears custom Nike Air Huarache 2KFresh cleats.
Carlos Gonzalez is one of the premier young talents in baseball. A five-tool stud, he’s the type of guy you build a team (real or fantasy) around. After a batting title and three straight 20-20 seasons, Gonzalez, along with a healthy Tulo, has solidified the middle of the Rockies lineup for years to come.
CarGo is one of the smoothest guys in the league and his gear follows suit. He swings a bat by Americas’ Bat Company, out of Roma, Texas. I asked the company what model Gonzalez swings, and they told me he has a custom cut called the “CarGo5” model. It is not available online, though they have many different cuts on their website. It was tough to get a good look at the bat because there isn’t much publicity for Americas’ Bat Company out there.
On his feet, Carlos Gonzalez wears a pair of Nike Air Huarache 2KFresh SIMILAR to the version in the feature. The cleats in the feature are actually Jeremy Guthrie’s player exclusives. Gonzalez wears a few different colorways, mixing in the Rockies colors.

The Nike Air Huarache 2KFresh is available, just not in Carlos Gonzalez’ (or Guthrie’s) colors.
Carlos Gonzalez has plenty of Nike swagger on his hands, too, wearing exclusive versions of both the Diamond Elite Pro and Diamond Elite Pro II batting gloves. Here are a few shots of his choices:

You can also see the titanium wristband there, which he wears on both wrists. We’re pretty confident those are Power Balance wristbands, though the ones online aren’t blacked out like that.

Both the Diamond Elite Pro and the Diamond Elite II batting gloves are available online, and in purple, just not in CarGo’s exact look.
As for guards, CarGo wears an SSK leg guard on his right foot in the box, and has also occasionally worn the Evoshield elbow guard in purple like you see in the feature. **Upon further review, it looks like CarGo wore the elbow shield in 2011, not 2012.** The SSK leg guard is something we’ve never seen before, though one website seems to have it (no pictures though). The Evoshield elbow guard is available and in a few different colors, just not that purple you see in the feature.

CarGo also wears a ProHitter on his thumb and has worn several colors, including white and red, which are available online.
