Giancarlo Stanton is not known for his glove, but he has an absolute cannon. In the next few years, he will get a reputation like Ichiro’s in baserunner’s minds, where guys are thinking twice about tagging up or going first-to-third on a single. He might even get a reputation among cut-off men—just ask Logan Morrison.
Stanton wears a custom Rawlings, and as far as we know its a Pro Preferred H-Web (302 model) in all black. I did my best photoshopping to try to give it the right look, because there is no glove exactly like it. Stanton’s also has the Fastback finger slot like in the feature, but also has that piece of leather that outlines the finger. Even though he has the Fastback, Giancarlo doesn’t use it. He actually looks like he doesn’t even put his index finger in that slot. Like a lot of outfielders, he puts his pinky and ring finger in the pinky slot, and slides the rest of his fingers over one slot. I play center field, and I’ve tried that way—it gives you the ability to close the glove with more force over the ball, and I could see some guys thinking it gives you more control. It’s definitely an interesting thing to try.

Stanton’s sunglasses are the most popular model we’ve seen, the Oakley Radar. Stanton’s sunglasses have the “Range” style lenses. He has black frames, Positive Red Iridium lenses, white ear socks, and polished chrome icons.
These are available, but you have to use the Oakley Custom Builder.
