I realized today that I hadn’t updated Yo in a while, and that’s just unacceptable after a Derby performance like that. Here’s what Cespedes is bringing to the box these days.
Chandler DTM7C1 and YC52 Maple
You won’t find Cespedes’ model, but there are some Chandlers out there on JustBats.com. Its the most expensive wood bat I’ve ever seen, but then again the two Derby finalists were swinging it, so you make the call.
Cutters C Cutters Pro in White, Green, and Yellow Combos
Cespedes Cutters style are only available at the link above, and there you can customize gloves just like Yo’s. Yes, its a batting glove customize builder, the first of its kind. If you want to check out some non-custom Cutters, check here.
Nike Air Huarache 2KFresh in Green/White
For the Derby, Cespedes took a page out of Josh Donaldson‘s book with a pair of Nike MVP Elite 3/4. Instead of metals, he went MCS for the Derby, and you can see those here. In regular season play, though, Yoenis has been wearing the classic Nike Air Huarache 2KFresh that you see below.
These are available, just not in Cespedes’ white/green (they used to be and you might get lucky on eBay).
And I’m sure you’re wondering if you can get that Phiten sleeve—you can, right here.
Also, how sweet are those socks with the logo on the ankle?
You can see two photos up that Cespedes wears the ever-popular ProHitter.
Benik Custom Wrist/Thumb Sliding Guard
This one is a funny-looking fusion of a could different guards, but you can check out Benik’s offerings at the link above.
Evoshield Leg Guard in Green
As you know by now, Evoshield has a bunch of colors now, just no green yet.
