Alex Rodriguez needs no introduction. Like him or not, the New York-native has been hitting the cover off the ball for 16 years. People may see him as a prima donna, but we at What Pros Wear appreciate the prima donna, because he tends to be stylish…OK, so there are exceptions to the rule.
In the ALDS versus the Tigers in 2011, A-Rod split time between the Nike Diamond Elite Pro batting gloves in white and Yankee blue, and an all-white version of the same Nike batting gloves (similar to the grey above, but not for retail, though there is an image below). His spikes were also split depending where he was playing. His away spikes were the Nike Shox Gamers you see above. A pair similar to the Nike Fuse 2’s above were his home spikes–the difference with his is that they have all white soles, including the Shox element under the sole of the foot.
