WPW This Week

Here is a snapshot of some of the things we missed this week….

The Cubs and the Cardinals wore these throwbacks from 1978.  We’re digging the powder blues and Rizzo’s @nikebaseball Huarache PE’s.

Staying with the Cubbies, we have a look at one of the many crazy @MiLB jersey nights that have been popular this year.  This one via @SmokiesBaseball, the Cubs AA affiliate.  Here are the jersey they are wearing tonight, as you can see they will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds going to the United Way:

The HOF inductions happened over the weekend, and @sluggernation gave a quick look at the bats made to commemorate the weekend….

….they also showed off @cgrand3’s custom batting gloves:

Take a look at this awesome product/Twitter @KingsTape, you can shoot them a DM if you are interested in their product.  $12 plus shipping seems like a steal to us.

Yasiel Puig was seen swinging some new lumber…. and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t impressed…

Last but not least, Easton Baseball social media accounts gave another look at the 2015 Big Barrel XL1 bats…we found a quick video if you want some more info as well:

  1. This website focuses on only east coast teams it should be called what “What The East Coast Pros Wear”

    1. if you cut the US in half, there’d be 22 MLB teams on the East half and 8 on the West half. Maybe that has something to do with it? http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/fantasynews/teams/teams_mlb.jpg
