Carmelo Anthony briefly laced up the Air Jordan XX3 in 2008 during that year’s All-Star game.
As Michael Jordan’s 23rd signature sneaker, the Jordan Brand went all out on the XX3. Tinker Hatfield was back to design, after creating some of the most memorable sneakers of all time for MJ. The premium leather upper features stitch patterns that used a machine for a 3 dimensional look.
The midsole is entirely made of a firm TPU (plastic) material, which combines with the carbon fiber shank for maximum support. A full-length Zoom Air unit provides a bounce under your foot. The IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) system features dual-density foam. This includes pods of softer foam to provide comfort in the heel and forefoot.
