Carmelo Anthony’s preferred sneaker of choice for the 2006-07 season was the Jordan Melo M3.
This is Anthony’s 3rd signature sneaker in his line, but first with the “M” moniker. The first two signatures were retro mashups in the Melo 1.5 and 5.5.
Designed by D’Wayne Edwards, the shoe features a full-grain leather upper that is reminiscent of materials from the ’90s. Full length Phylon foam combines with Zoom Air in the forefoot and encapsulated Air Sole in the heel. This provides responsiveness when running on the forefoot and impact protection in the heel.
Anthony debuted the shoe in August 2016 for the FIBA World Championship, before rocking the sneaker for the entire season with the Denver Nuggets.
