Carmelo Anthony’s footwear of choice for the 2009-10 season with the Denver Nuggets was the Jordan Melo M6.
The sneaker saw lead designer D’Wayne Edwards hand off his duties to Justin Taylor. Leathers and mesh make up with upper, with a panel overlaying the midsole. Zoom Air is in the forefoot for responsiveness when running and landing.
A second version of the M6 was later released to coincide with Jordan Brand’s Future Sole competition. Austin Jermacans was the high schooler who won out, adding a midfoot strap and a quilted collar panel for extra lockdown.
