According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, NBA players will have the option to wear a ring that may “forecast and predict the onset of COVID-19 related symptoms” three days in advance.
The ring monitors physiological data similar to fitness bands that we know, however, the design allows it to be worn 24/7.
According to Engadget:
” The titanium second-generation Oura rings are water resistant, weigh from four to six grams (depending on size) and can run for up to seven days on a charge. Once drained, they can power up on their wireless inductive charging plate in about 80 minutes.”
I would expect to see a lot of NBA players with this ring on, considering it looks good and add some peace of mind. The Oura ring is $299 and available here.
