Without further ado, check the best highlights and sneakers from another night in the Orlando NBA bubble.
Jamal Gets Clippers Back
After getting blown out in game 1, the Denver Nuggets stormed back to pretty handily beat the Clippers to tie the series. Jamal Murray was the high-point man with 27 points on the night. This includes 3 on a nasty stepback on Kawhi Leonard:
Joker Gets the Last Laugh
The Clippers were content to back off Nikola Jokic to cut off his passing ability. The Joker made LA pay. The damage: 26 points and 18 rebounds on 4/5 three-point shooting.
Harris Takes Beverley’s Ankles
Murray wasn’t the only Nugget to pull off a stepback, as teammate Gary Harris had Patrick Beverley’s ankles wobbling on this triple.
Block Party, Toronto Edition
Getting his Mutombo finger-wag on was Serge Ibaka, who absolutely erased Daniel Theis’ dunk attempt at the rim.
Block Party, Celtics Edition
A spectacular block on the other side of the Toronto vs. Boston game came from the Celtics best defender. Fred Van Vleet looked to lay the ball up on this fast break, but Marcus Smart was scouting him the whole time. The Celtics guard elevated perfectly and swatted the ball completely out of bounds.
Insert All-Black Shoe Meme Here
If you know about the all-black Air Force 1 memes, you’ll understand the grit that comes with rocking blackout sneakers on the court. Kawhi did just that with his signature New Balance The KAWHI sneaker tonight. This shoe will release officially in the fall.
Kyle Lowry to the Lakers Confirmed
Speaking of memes, the -insert player- to the Lakers confirmed joke has it’s next candidate in Kyle Lowry. All joking aside, the Raptors guard did wear a very Los Angeles oriented colorway today, with purple and gold throughout his adidas Harden Vol. 4. This Su Casa Pack Lakers colorway can be found at StockX and GOAT.
