The Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 Brings Speed and Style to Russell Westbrook’s Game

As if Russell Westbrook needs any more speed or style. The Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 is faster (and louder) than ever before.

The Brodie’s third signature shoe is the lightest sneaker in Russ’ line. This is done by cutting down layers and materials on the upper, including lowering the collar. To better suit Westbrook’s game, the shoe sits lower to the ground for extra court feel. An articulated Zoom Air bag in the forefoot is the largest in the line, giving Russ extra bounce when running and landing.

On the style side, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 takes inspiration from Italian tailoring. A first in the line is the TPU strap on the midfoot. This provides off-court appeal in addition to added lockdown. The size tag at the bottom of the shoe is carried over from the Zer0.2, as is the stitched side emblem showcasing the colorway name.

Three colorways are set to launch soon at Jordan Brand retailers and House of Hoops locations: the Zer0 Noise, Heartbeat and Family.

The Zer0 Noise colorway plays off of TV static and SMPTE color bars, adding to Westbrook’s loud personality. The colorway represents Russ’ passion for the game while drowning out all distractions on the court, and is set to release on January 2.

The Family colorway takes a simpler approach with black and white throughout. This colorway is an homage to the closest people in Russ’ life, who help him stay focused on the task at hand. This version is set to drop on January 9.

Back to loud color pops is the “Heartbeat” colorway. This Why Not Zer0.3 features bright pink to mirror that on his twin daughters’ bedroom. This grey and pink style is set to drop on February 27.
