We, like you, often have our Big League Swag dreams crushed when we fall in love with some hot new item, then get a look at the price tag… Don’t give up hope, though. Like the Oakland A’s, small market swag is very possible. We’ve combed the baseball internet to provide you with some of our favorite deals and value buys. With the holidays coming around, these are some items that will give you PLUS SWAG at a reasonable cost.
BATTING GLOVES
Franklin Batting Gloves Starting at $25
Right now, you can find CFX Pro Batting Gloves on sale in a variety of colors at Baseball Express. There’s not really much else that can be said about Franklin that hasn’t already. Some of the best players in the game, including Miguel Cabrera and Ronald Acuña, trust their grip to CFX Pro batting gloves. It’s a timeless look and a great value to boot.

Nike Alpha Huarache Elite Cleats for $70
With Nike recently releasing the newest iteration of the Alpha Huarache Elite, you can now find last year’s model for $70. These were the 2018 game cleat of All-Stars like Nolan Arenado and Alex Bregman, and for $70 they are still a high-performance cleat at a great price.

New Balance 3000v3 Cleats for $50
In the wake of the newer Fresh Foam 3000v4, you can now cop New Balance 3000v3 cleats on Baseball Express in various colors for $50. That is an absolute steal for a top notch cleat, and you can expect several pros to continue wearing them into next season. Often we see New Balance athletes holding onto older styles because they like them that much.

Stance Sock Subscription Starting at $19
Stance has been the official sock of MLB for the last two seasons now, and they now offer a very interesting subscription model for sock fiends. Starting at $19 a month, you can select 2 pairs from a personalized list, and you can cancel or skip a shipment at any time. Choices are limited and official team socks are not available, but you can buy two pairs of Diamond Pro socks like Ronald Acuña’s, a $48 value, at $19. That’s what you call Savings Swag.

GLOVES
Fully Custom 44 Pro Glove for $180
If you want a custom glove but don’t want to pay upwards of $300, check out 44 Pro. They’ve been making gloves since 2011, and have a growing list of MLB clientele, including Phillies’ first baseman Justin Bour. They offer several different patterns, and for $185 you can get a fully custom Kip leather glove (the same kind of leather used for a Rawlings Pro Preferred), with special features including gill lacing and stamped logos. They also offer several discounts for holidays throughout the year. Speaking from experience, they are high quality, and at that price point its hard to beat.

With glove companies releasing their new models, right now is the perfect time to scoop up top notch gloves at discounted prices. Below you’ll see more of our favorite models. You can scoop up this Chocolate/Black/Grey 11.75″ Heart of the Hide NP5 V-web for $210. As you might recall, this was Manny Machado’s game model a couple of seasons back when he was still playing third base. It’s a beauty of a glove, and with HOHs retailing for $260 now, those $50 are nice savings.

For $170, this 11.5″ HOH PRO204 Modified Trap in Black/Red is a steal. This glove is so clean it’ll look like you got it custom. The PRO204 is one of Rawling’s most versatile gloves, capable of being used across the infield and on the mound.

For $210, you can scoop up this very unique Black/Grey 11.75″ HOH PRO205 Wingtip H-Web. Very clean with some subtle notes of swag. The wingtip back is under-used, and the pattern and web combo are great for third base or shortstop.

Wilson 2018 Game Models for 30% Off
Wilson recently released their 2019 Player models, and as a result, the 2018 versions are marked down 30% off. Jose Altuve’s navy and orange 11.5 A2000 JA27 cross-web is only $182. This is a stunner of a glove at a great price. With its shallow pocket, Altuve’s 2018 JA27 glove is perfect for middle infielders.

With it’s unique combination of tan leather with red Superskin and yellow accents, this glove will stand out on the field.
