The New Orlean’s Pelicans’ season opener for the 2018-19 campaign saw Anthony Davis rock a colorful sneaker that he debuted at media day. That sneaker was the Nike Air Force Max 2018, an extension of the Air Force Max from 1993 that was worn by the Fab Five and Charles Barkley.
The 2018 version is still made for big men, albeit with a sleeker look. A full-length Air Max unit provides maximum impact protection, while the mid-cut collar and forefoot strap adds a sense of security that locks you into the shoes. A large external heel cup further supports your foot from rolling over, which is much needed for big men around the world.
