One of the many Nike Basketball sneakers that Ja Morant laced up his rookie season was the Nike Kyrie Low 2. Not to be confused with the Nike Kyrie 2, the Kyrie Low 2 was a part of Kyrie Irving’s non-signature sneaker line.
This low-cut sneaker was designed with fast guard-play in mind. The shoe uses minimal cushioning and is low-to-the-ground for added court-feel. The Kyrie Low 2 does boast rectangular Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot for extra bounce. The upper consists of a durable textile material, with plastic pieces used as heel reinforcement. These pieces are also utilized for the lace holes.
