One of the staples in Jimmy Butler’s adidas sneaker rotation was the adidas Crazy 1.
The adidas Crazy 1 was originally called “The KOBE” and was Kobe Bryant’s first signature shoe with the three stripes. The polarizing design of the shoe was inspired by the rounded Audi TT Roadster. Audi’s design team even helped co-design with Crazy 1 with famous sneaker designer Peter Moore.
The shoe featured extra foam in the collar area for added cushioning. The Crazy 1 provides cushioning and support, with injected EVA foam and a Torsion piece in the midsole. A half shell-toe pays homage to adidas’ classic Superstar sneaker.
Butler wore the sneaker across seasons from 2012-14, before he signed with the Jordan Brand.
You can find the adidas Crazy 1 at StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club.
