The sneaker that Klay Thompson wore after 941-days on the injury list was his signature ANTA KT 7. Due to his extended absence, Klay’s last sneaker worn on-court was the KT 4.
Klay’s 7th signature shoe boasts ANTA’s new Nitrospeed technology, a foam that took 3 years to develop. The cushioning has nitrogen injected into Polyether block amide (PEBA) allowing the foam to be both light while still being more responsive. A carbon fiber plate is used in the midfoot for added support, with the material extending to the heel to prevent major rollovers. TPU yarn is used on the upper for a durable, yet lightweight containment system.
