One of the smoothest players in the game continues to have the signature shoes to match. Paul George’s new PG 5 feature’s the smoothness from the multidirectional tread pattern that gives the wearer all the control on the court.
Nike Air fans will also be happy to hear the dot-welded Air Strobel returning from the Nike PG 4. This Air sits directly underneath your foot to really feel the soft, impact protecting cushion.
Something that isn’t carried over is the shroud cover from the PG 4, that caused sizing issues. A more traditional lacing system takes it’s place, with the 5th and 6th lace holes lowered for a lockdown fit.
George just unveiled the shoe in a navy colorway seen below, via the Clippers Twitter.
No info to report on this colorway. The black and white colorway of the PG5 releases January 21 in North America.
