Do these Adidas pitching gloves headed to Mississippi State baseball pass YOUR eye test? They do for me, but what do I know? I’ve never used one and I’ve never even considered it.
I threw it out to the WPW IG community to see what they thought:
If you can sort through the standard trolling, there’s a couple of meaningful insights in there.
From @riversideleather (a UC Riverside commit):
“last year was their first go around at gloves. They were very awkward feeling, leather wasn’t durable and cracked very easily. They were ‘K3 leather,’ which was their take on cowhide. This year, I can tell you leather quality is on par with anyone else. My only gripe is the gloves are fairly heavy, but leather quality is much better.”
From @afish95 (U. Portland pitcher):
“FYI new EQT gloves, like these, are wayyyyy better performance-wise than previous years. Leather is comparable to Heart of the Hide with thickness, feel, durability, and comfort.”
You can feel whatever way you want to feel, but those endorsements seem legit to me.
Would you rock an Adidas glove?
