We alluded to it last week, and we’ve finally got some close-ups of Kris Bryant’s cleats, the adidas Icon 3, and they are all beauties.
He’s got at least five colorways he’s mixing in down the stretch, starting with these white/blue/gold versions.
The finish and attention-to-detail on adidas customs is next level, including all of their holiday/commemorative cleats, as well as Kris Bryant’s cleats. They always go the extra mile, adding little things like the gold plate/number/signature embroidery, but it goes even further than that with Bryant’s custom Icon 3 cleats.
In this photo you can see that adidas branded the heel loop with “THREE STRIPE LIFE.” Adidas designers deserve a lot of props for their story-telling ability, which has been a consistent element of adidas’ rise over the last couple of seasons.

Subtle details with different treatments so that Kris has plenty of options. He seems to be mixing in all of these cleats during games.
Adidas sent me a pair of the Icon 3 trainer, and though I can’t speak for the cleat, I will say that the trainers have become my go-to golf shoe. Not slipping at all on wet grass, and they give me the feeling that my foot is not going to slip INSIDE the shoe either. Very secure fit up to the low part of the ankle.
And last but not least, my favorite…
I’m a huge fan of greys, and you just can’t beat these with the Chicago road greys.
Bryant seems to like these, too, as he wore them even with the blue jerseys recently.
Which ones would you go for?
