Klay Thompson’s sneaker of choice for the 2016-17 NBA season was the ANTA KT 2.
ANTA had more time to work on Klay’s second signature shoe, improving on the basic predecessor. The ‘Fuse upper remained the same, but the KT 2 featured ANTA EVE foam, a branded version of EVA that features softer density pads in the heel and forefoot for plush cushioning.
After losing a 3-1 NBA Finals lead to the Cavaliers in the prior season, Klay’s Golden State squad was on a mission. The Warriors would sweep the Blazers, Utah Jazz, and San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs before getting revenge on the Cavs to claim another championship.
