While Irving found a ton of success in the Kyrie 1, he also ended that season on a low while nursing an injury during the NBA Finals. Kyrie was locked in for the 2015-16 season, and that was represented in a way with his footwear. The Kyrie 2 pretty much mirrored the 1 in functionality, although the shoe did notably add a strap in the midfoot for a lockdown fit.
