A non-Jordan Brand sneaker that Michael Jordan rocked in his career was the Nike Air Flight One.
There is a bit of backstory on this, as Michael hadn’t rocked a swoosh on his shoes since the Air Jordan 1. Mike debuted the “Concord” Air Jordan 11 in the 1995 playoffs for game 1 and 2 against the Orlando Magic. Due to league restrictions, Mike couldn’t wear the predominantly white shoe with his road uniform or else face a $5000 fine. Instead, MJ laced up the sneakers that were available in the Nike Air Flight One. This sneaker had Magic Guard Penny Hardaway’s logos on the heels. The competitive nature of Michael had him cut off these logos completely, forgoing the heel tabs. Jordan would debut a black Air Jordan 11 the game after, now known as the “Space Jam” colorway.
You can find the Nike Air Flight One at StockX, GOAT, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
