Welcome to Nightly Pro Notables: a collection of the hottest sneakers and biggest moments of the night on August 7, 2020.

This day was light on the epic performances but did see the unveiling of Joel Embiid’s Under Armour signature sneaker. We also got some wild buzzer beaters and dunks, as you can see below.

PRO HIGHLIGHTS

CP3’s Buzzer Beater

Chris Paul came with his vintage dramatics on this play, stealing the ball with seconds left before sinking the buzzer beating 3 for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

You can find the Jordan CP3.XIII model he wore in this moment at GOAT.

Jaylen Throws a DIME

Jaylen Brown’s court vision was on full display on this play. The Celtics guard somehow threaded the needle perfectly from 3/4 court between three Raptors to Gordon Hayward for the easy two.

You can find the “Crazy Taxi” adidas Dame 6 that Brown wore at adidas and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Jaxson Hayes’ Power Slam

Lost in the Zion hype is one of the New Orleans Pelicans other rookies in Jaxson Hayes. The athletic big man took a simple pick and roll play here and threw down a right-handed dunk with authority.

You can find the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 “Tie-Dye” that Hayes wore available at StockX.
