In late 2012, Paul George was in his bag in rocking all sorts of retro kicks. One of these sneakers was the Nike Air More Uptempo, that Scottie Pippen popularized in the ‘90s. Designed by top Nike designer Wilson Smith, the aggressive “AIR” font plastered on the sides of the shoes defined the loud fashion in the era. The bulk and large Air max unit was also a 90s trend for basketball shoes of the time. Paul George rocked the “USA” colorway in 2012, a shoe that Pippen previously won a gold medal in for the 1996 Olympics.
You can find the Nike Air More Uptempo at StockX, GOAT, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
