One of the first sneakers that Paul George rocked in the 2013-14 season was the Nike Hyperdunk 2013. Much like the 2013 version that PG wore the year prior, the Hyperdunk 2013 featured exposed Flywire to help with a lockdown fit. Both yearly Hyperdunks also implemented Lunarlon foam for soft and bouncy cushioning.
As a sign of things to come, Paul George rocked PE colorways of the Hyperdunk 2013 in gold that matched his Pacers jersey, although this version did not release to the public. A Hyperdunk 2014 Paul George PE would release in select quantities, but PG would end up not lacing up the shoes after his injury during Olympic scrimmages.
