Outside of the original Zoom Hyperfuse style, a popular on-court sneaker for a rookie Paul George was the Nike Zoom Kobe 6. This sneaker is known for the synthetic scales on the upper that mimic a snake, while also providing durability for the soft and lightweight material underneath.
Evidently, Paul George has always wanted the #MambaMentality as he has long idolized Kobe Bryant growing up in Southern California. This explains why George chose to wear just about every other Kobe signature shoe from the Zoom Kobe 6 on.
PG would go on to wear the Kobe 6 throughout his rookie 2010-11 season, as well as the early part of the 2011-12 campaign.
