As the 2015-16 season continued on, Russell started to rock the next Air Jordan sneaker; the XXX (30). This shoe was almost purely an aesthetic change, as the entire sole was similar to the XX9. Heel pillows were added though, to help secure the heel of your foot.
The FlightPlate and Zoom Air set-up was back for a direct bounce under the forefoot.
This “more of the same” sneaker translated on the court as well, with Russ winning his second of back-to-back All-Star game MVP awards.
