Another shoe that Russell wore in the 2011-12 season before the playoff run is the Nike Hyperfuse 2011.
The Hyperfuse line focused on two aspects: breathability and durability. The 2011 version was no different, with plastic “Fuse” material on the upper and ventilation holes throughout. This shoe is almost identical to the original 2010 version, with a few more ventilation spots added in the heel.
While Russ did seem to prefer the OG version as he wore that Hyperfuse style during the NBA Finals, the Brodie did put in work with the 2011 Hyperfuse. Russ even had a game-saving block against the Blazers in the Hyperfuse 2011.
