Coming off a dazzling MVP-caliber season, Steph Curry came into the 2021-22 season wearing the Curry Flow 9 shoes made by Under Armour.
This is Steph’s 2nd sneaker under his Curry Flow subsidiary brand and builds off the game-changing Curry Flow 8. As the shoe name suggests, UA Flow returns, which removes the traditional outsole opting for traction carved directly onto the cushioning. This time around support pieces are added to prevent rollovers.
What’s new on the shoe is the UA Warp tech upper; Under Armour’s latest innovation and first time used on a basketball sneaker. This knit is said to “mold to the human form to unlock performance” while still retaining strength/durability.
