For the 10th anniversary of the first Shox basketball shoe, Vince Carter started wearing the Nike Shox BB Pro.
Carter signed with the Swoosh in 2000 and first started rocking the Shox BB4, a shoe he wore during his famous Olympics dunk. Many design queues pay homage to the Shox BB4, including the entire sole/ tooling. This includes the four eye-catching Shox pillars which provide impact protection for the wearer. The heel ridges on the upper and the five dots on the toe also mimic design queues of the Shox BB Pro’s predecessor.
Nike has not retroed the shoe since VC was on the Orlando Magic in 2010, so the Nike Shox BB Pro is currently unavailable at retailers.
