After sweeping the Blazers and Jazz in back-to-back playoff series, KD stepped onto the 2017 Western Conference Finals stage in the Nike KD 10. The latest Durant signature carried over the articulated, full-length Zoom Air unit from the KD 9. This meant the bouncy feeling you got from the past model was back. Nike further improved on the ease of entry (or lack thereof on the KD 9) with a thinned down heel area. The heel was made up of a thin, high-stretch Flyknit. This thin heel would typically hurt the lockdown of the shoe, but the bungee lacing system helped provide a closer fit.
Kevin would go on to wear the KD 10 on his way to his first championship and first NBA Finals MVP trophy. He would go on to rock the KD 10 for the entire 2017-18 season. Durant appeared to embrace the hate from fans with colorways based off of cupcakes and snakes.
You can find the Nike KD 10 at StockX, Flight Club, Stadium Goods, and GOAT.
