After another NBA Finals win and Finals MVP trophy, the Nike KD 11 was unveiled by Nike on June 14, 2018. This was just days after Durant hoisted both trophies alongside with the rest of the Golden State Warriors.

Unlike the last two models, the KD 11 went back to the drawing board in terms of sneaker design. Kevin specifically asked designer Leo Chang for instant comfort. The swoosh delivered this with a shoe with a sock-like upper made of Flyknit. Unlike previous Nike basketball shoes with this material, KD wanted a softer knit like that on his Flyknit Trainer and Air Sock Trainer sneakers.

The KD 11 comfort also came from the cushioning, with full-length Zoom Air utilized below the strobel that provided a bouncy feeling. Below the Zoom Air is React cushioning that contrasts the bounce with a softer plush feeling.

Kevin Durant rocked the Nike KD 11 for the majority of the 2018-19 season before switching to the KD 12 in March 2019.

You can find the Nike KD 11 at StockXFlight ClubStadium Goods, and GOAT.
