The former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates met at the rim in a Warriors vs. Raptors clash in 2018.
Kevin Durant brought the ball up the court on this play after a rebound. KD briskly walked up the court with Pascal Siakam preparing himself with a defensive stance. As the Warriors Forward crossed half-court, Durant went behind the back. Siakam reached and was left in the dust by the speeding Durant. Kevin raced towards the hoop where he was met by the shot-blocking Serge Ibaka. The Raptors big man was in the perfect position for the block. Durant’s vertical leap and wingspan won out though, as he packed a right handed dunk over Ibaka’s outstretched arms.
Durant rocked the Nike KD 11 during this poster slam. This shoe utilized the best of Nike’s technologies at the time. Flyknit was used in the upper, giving a soft, sock-like feel. Nike also combined a full-length Zoom Air unit with React foam to offer both responsiveness and a plush ride with every step.
Kevin rocked the “Cool Grey” colorway for this game, which can be found here.
You can find other colorways of the Nike KD 11 at StockX, Flight Club, Stadium Goods, and GOAT.
