Giannis Antetokounmpo Finishes And-1 Alley-Oop Dunk Over CP3 in the Nike Zoom Freak 2 Shoes

In a defining moment for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday’s careers, the duos clutch play led to a key way on the way to the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2021 championship.

The series was tied in game 5, with the Suns having possession down 119-120 and less than 30 seconds remaining. Devin Booker rebounded Jrue’s off-balanced jumper and was looking to score the go-ahead bucket on a drive. P.J. Tucker stayed in front of D Book with Giannis rotating to form a wall at the rim. Booker turned away from those Bucks only to get snatched by Holiday. Racing up the court was Chris Paul with Antetokounmpo making ground with his long strides. Giannis yelled at Jrue to throw the lob and Holiday obliged with a ballsy alley-oop. CP3 did his best to shove Giannis but he finished with authority for the And-1. Giannis emotionlessly flexed to the camera, with Twitter capitalizing on the memeable moment.

The Suns crowd fast counted on Giannis subsequent free throw which drew front rim, but the Greek Freak’s long arms was able to back tap the board to Khris Middleton. His free throws iced the pivotal game, on the Bucks way to their NBA championship.

The sneaker Antetokounmpo wore for this career highlight is the Nike Zoom Freak 2. Much of Giannis’ 2nd signature shoe was made to take advantage of Giannis’ moves and explosiveness. The outsole is decoupled with different forms of traction on the heel and forefoot. The wider traction in the heel is more firm to withstand all the impact from landing. This combines with the reinforced lateral outrigger, a frequent landing spot for Giannis as he gathers.

The tan, red and yellow PE that the Greek Freak rocked isn’t currently available.

You can find Giannis’ Nike Zoom Freak 2 at StockXGOAT, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
