Late Kevin Durant’s 2020-21 NBA season, Nike unveiled the Brooklyn Nets forward’s 14th signature shoe.
Kevin Durant’s 14th signature shoe put the Slim Reaper in exclusive company, joining only Michael Jordan and LeBron James as signature athletes with 14 sneakers in a signature line. Technology-wise, The KD 14 retains the Zoom Air Strobel from the past two KD sneakers. This provides a bouncy feeling when running and walking, with the responsive Zoom stitched directly under the insole to really feel it. Durant has loved straps on sneakers, with this feature previously on the KD 2, 4, 7, and now the KD 14. The inner section of the midfoot tongue is mad to look like the Nike Air Presto cage for casual appeal, while providing a lockdown fit on the technical side.
