The 2014-15 season saw Anthony Davis wear the Nike Zoom Hyperposite 2, an updated version of the then-popular big man shoe. Unlike the first Hyperposite, the second version was slightly less bulky, with areas of the upper stripped down. This not only made the shoe lighter, but also added breathability. The Hyperposite 2 also replaced the Max Air unit for a Max Zoom Air unit – forgoing impact protection for a responsive, bouncy feeling.
Davis accomplished a lot in the Hyperposite 2, dropping highlight after highlight on his way to his first playoff appearance of his career. This includes an epic game-winner that ended up being the deciding game for the 8-seed on the Western Conference Finals. You can see that moment and others within Anthony Davis’ locker.
