For at least one game, Antetokounmpo wore a new pair of kicks that wasn’t a plain team colorway. Giannis played a prominent role during the 2015 All-Star weekend, rocking the All-Star colorway of the original Nike Hyperrev seen above. Giannis started for Team World in the Rising Stars competition and scored a modest 12 points. The Greek Freak would go on to rock a blue colorway in the 2015 Dunk Contest, that matched the Greek flag he walked out with. Giannis missed all of his attempts on the first dunk and scored pretty low on his second dunk that featured older brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo.
While Giannis didn’t provide the flash that eventually Dunk Contest winner Zach LaVine did, there would be more impressive in-game jams to come in Greek Freak’s career.
