After a heartbreaking game 7 first round loss in the 2018 playoffs, Giannis Antetokounmpo went to work. The Greek Freak noticeably looked more muscular in offseason photos, and reported had gained a combined 53 pounds of muscle since his rookie season. The added muscle aided Giannis in increasing his interior scoring, which eventually led to his Milwaukee Bucks capturing the best record in the 2018-19 season.
His weapon of choice in terms of footwear this season was the Nike Kobe AD, the latest in the line of mamba sneakers with the same name (this version released in 2018.) This low-top shoe features a mesh bootie construction, with bouncy Zoom Air in the heel. The flatness of the sole and internal-external heel counters add further support to the wearer.
You can find the Nike Kobe AD at StockX, Stadium Goods, Flight Club, and Eastbay.
