One of the weirdest sneaker worn by James Harden was the Sharkley. While technically a performance sneaker at the time, the shoe was essentially a lifestyle offering that combines classics in the Shake Ndestrukt (made famous by Dennis Rodman) as well as the Air Max CB94 (worn by Charles Barkley.)
Fun fact: Nike also dropped another fusion model called the Sharkalaid, that mixed together the aforementioned big men shoe with the outdoor-friendly Air Raid. Harden didn’t wear the Sharkalaid, but it’s interesting to see where performance sneakers were going around 2010.
