After a summer of flirting with other sneaker brands, news came in September that the original ZO2 Prime was scrapped in favor of the Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime Remix.

The original ZO2 Prime was deemed unoriginal by the masses, due to similarites to adidas Boost styles. The Prime Remix in contrast had design queues similar to the Brandblack Rare Metal. This would make sense soon, as news came out that the shoes were designed by the performance basketball company Brandblack.

That company’s founder, David Raysse, had started a design consulting company called Santa Ana (seen printed on the Prime Remix) to assist Ball with remixing Lonzo’s signature shoe. The shoe features a mono-filament ripstop mesh taken from lightweight performance racing yachts, while utilizing a soft foam called Jetlon.

Lonzo put together a few great games, including the historic triple-double that made him the youngest to ever record the feat.

You can purchase the Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime Remix at StockX.
